About the excursion

The excursion is not free of charge and requires you to be present during the full three days. It is not possible to participate online or in a part of the excursion. Next to the content-filled program, there is time to discover the cities. Signing up is no guarantee for participation. You need confirmation from our side. Practicalities 

  • Please double check your agenda before signing up! 
  • You will leave on January 28th at 08:30 and will return on January 31st around 20:00. 
  • The costs for participation are approx. €195,-. This includes the travel expenses and the hostel costs (incl. breakfast) 
  • The full program will be disclosed prior to the event 
  • The whole excursion counts for 1 activity for the Energy Academy Certificate

General Programme

During this three-day excursion, you will explore the political landscape of the energy transition. On the first day we will be going to Paris and explore the city in the evening. The next day we will visit the French Institute of International Relations and the International Energy Agency and have a free evening. The day after we will be traveling to Brussels and get inspired by WindEurope and HydrogenEurope. On the last day we will visit the European Parliament and go back to Groningen. It is also possible to stay in Brussels.
